The system of Relining is a proven technique and established method of placing a new joint free pipe within an existing damaged pipe without the need for excavation and it will cause minimal disruption. The new pipe material is similar to GRP (glass re enforced plastic) and in all cases will be superior in quality and strength to the pipe which it lines. The new pipe is moulded into the damaged pipe by a method called 'Inversion' using water or air pressure, fitting it tightly against the wall of the existing pipe. When the inversion process is complete the new pipe is left rigid resulting in a strong, tough pipe fitted within the existing pipe.

Relining is suitable for sewers, down pipes and most applications within the drain trade.

Confined Space Entry

Confined Space Entry techniques are an absolute must if you are planning on entering sewers or tanks for cleaning or maintenance and any of the many other area's where oxygen deficient atmosphere may be present. If you are unsure then you need to have a highly trained team, we have the fully trained crews available to you.

Surveying

    CCTV

Drain and Sewer Services have moved forward with the advances in CCTV Surveys by constantly upgrading there equipment to ensure that the quality and accuracy of all the CCTV Surveys they carry out each day are of a high standard.

Due to our high resolution quality units we are able to survey both the largest and the smallest diameter sewers.

Whether it is for a large housing estate or a private property, our customers have been using our services and equipment to help solve their inspections. We will provide on screen visual proof of a located problem, this is backed up by video evidence and written reports and mapping is also available.

Drain and Sewer Services have designed and built a significant number of CCTV Survey Vehicles. These vehicles incorporate all the systems necessary to run a complete TV Survey. We've designed all our vehicles to optimise the highest level of safety and productivity for all our clients. We can allow engineers to sit in relative comfort and observe the survey as it happens, so they will leave the site with all relative information required

Drain and Sewer Services aim to overcome every possible scenario, therefore we realise that a lightweight portable unit is utmost in every customers needs. We appreciate a vehicle may not be able to get to every location, therefore we can supply a one man, low cost operational Survey teams that can survey any and every application necessary, whether it be internal or external the whole surveying unit can be moved along with a power supply.

Visual Inspections

We have dedicated manpower that specialise in all types of inspections from sewer and drain pipes, ducting, drainage systems, non man entry chambers and voids or gaps.

Drain Test

This is another way of assessing the condition of a drainage system either on a large or small scale, it can be used on completion of building works, prior to buying your home, if you have subsidence or just simply for piece of mind and to check condition.

Tracing of Drainage

It is perfectly feasible to trace just one drain run from manhole to manhole right up to whole housing estates. There are a couple of techniques after CCTV Surveying.

o Sonde tracing will be helpful in locating drainage across fields or football pitches.

o Dye tracing is widely used when all drainage is visible or through floors in high buildings
